At OktoberFest, Ordnung muss sein—but so must a little friendly chaos. Race your dachshund, enter your finest German bake, test your stein-hoisting strength, or unleash the yodel you’ve been politely keeping to yourself. Not feeling competitive? Cheer loudly, choose favorites and offer completely unsolicited coaching from the sidelines. Participation is encouraged; enthusiastic spectating is the minimum requirement.

Short legs. Big ambition. Absolutely no regard for staying in their assigned lane. Watch Colorado’s fastest—and most distractible—dachshunds race for glory, treats and eternal bragging rights. Register your little athlete to compete, or come cheer as the wiener dogs create magnificent, adorable chaos.
Bring us your best German-inspired bake and let the judging begin! From treasured family recipes to freshly mastered favorites, Das Bake-Auf celebrates the bakers bold enough to put their creations before the judges. Enter to compete—or come witness the delicious drama when the winners are crowned.
This is where OktoberFest gets loud, lively and just a little competitive. Step up for yodeling, stein hoisting, the German costume contest and Das Boot Relay—all between live music and dancing. Join a contest, cheer from the sidelines or confidently critique everyone’s technique while holding a beverage. Everyone has a role.
No registrations required. Some contests may require participants who are 21 or older.
